Off the Grid

I am out at my parents house for the week. Its been nice to take a step back and just kind of relax without thinking about what the next thing I should hurry up and get done while she is napping should be. Last night my mom even stayed up with my Bird so that I could get some much needed rest. It was awesome!

A Race Against Time

That's what my life feels like these days. This week has been pretty good. I have been able to keep up on things around the house, and my Bird has done better this week with sleeping so I decided to start incorporating writing again everyday. Writing with a newborn in the house is tricky. I have to be strategic and sneaky about it.

Refreshing!

Since I took a bit of a break, although not very long, I have had to refresh my brain on the story that I want to tell. That's tricky with a three week old, let me tell you. I don't have much time to read these days other than at our 3a feeding which is always really rough for her for some reason. I sit in my rocking chair and rock her back to sleep for a couple of hours and read the Kindle app on my phone.

Whew, this is going to be a fast one as these are my current working conditions.

I plan to do some actual writing as well today so I am hoping that she will cooperate with that.
